The R.N. Bynum family at Bird Creek Falls in 1902. The falls were approximately 10 miles north of Tulsa. Families would rent a train boxcar for the ride to and from Sperry (2 miles from the falls) and enjoy a day of picnicking and fishing at the six foot falls.
