Tulsa County Courthouse at 6th and Boston in 1941. Now the location of the Bank of America Building. The courthouse was built in 1912 and contained two courtrooms. This was the place where the 1921 Race Riot began. The jail was on the top floor, and four Deputies with shotguns turned off the elevators and blocked the staircase to prevent the mob from getting up the stairs. At the front of the building, you can see several police cars. On the left side of the picture you can see the Tulsa County Commissioner's office. On the right hand side of the picture you can see the Philtower.
