Photograph of the Sue Bland No.1 well in Red Fork, Indian Territory, 1901. Sue Davis Bland was the wife of Dr. Bland. The well was drilled on Sue Davis' land allotment by Dr. Bland and Dr. Clinton. The well produced 35 barrels of oil per day originally. Today's output is the minimum required to maintain the lease, 2 barrels per month.
