Spartan Aircraft Factory in 1929. Spartan was located on N. Sheridan, north of the Frisco Railroad tracks in an area known as Tulsa Heights. In the lower left hand corner of the photo is North Sheridan. The road with the grass median is East Virgin Street. Spartan was established in 1928 when Mid-continent Aircraft was purchased by Skelly.
