Reverend R. M. Loughridge, D.D., missionary to the Creek Indians. Born in Laurensville, South Carolina, Decmber 24, 1809. Died in Waco, Texas, July 8, 1900. He entered upon Missionary work among the Creek Indians in November, 1842, and established the Koweta Mission in 1843, and the Tullahassee Mission six years later.
