Portrait of Reverend Sylvester Morris, Harriet Smith Morris, and stepdaughter Lyda on the porch of their home which is the oldest existing house in Tulsa. Mr. Morris was killed accidentally by two marshals who thought he was a liquor dealer, when he was in fact hauling lumber. He didn't stop for the marshals because he was hard of hearing and thought the marshals were hijackers. Beryl Ford discovered the house on North Cheyenne Avenue and was instrumental in getting it restored and moved to Owen Park.
