Pythian Building at 5th and Boulder. The building was originally designed to be 15 stories, but was scaled down to 3 stories due to the Depression. There was a flower shop, Ben Estes Clothing and a large Western Union office on the ground floor. The building on the left was the Rich Building/Theater. The clock on the advertising sign is typical of the time. The building to the right is the Mayo Building. The Pythian is on the National Register of Historic Places.
