The Perryman residence was located between 5th and 6th streets and Boulder Avenue and Main Street. Mr. George Perryman's family was known to be large, due in part to his kindheartedness in rearing several orphans. Mrs. Perryman eventually sold the property to the County of Tulsa for a new courthouse location. She stipulated payment in gold. Parts of the original residence still exist at a home between 13th & 14th Streets on the east side of Elwood Avenue.
