The private library of the late Dr. A.I. Levorsen will be formally presented to the Tulsa City-County Library at dedication ceremonies in the Central Library, Monday, at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. A.I. Levorsen will cut the ribbon and open an exhibit of selected items, which will be on display during March in the library's exhibit area. To be known as the A.I. Levorsen Geology Collection, materials will be designated by a handsome book plate, designed by Dr. Levorsen's son, James K. Levorsen. The library will be housed in the technical collection of the Business and Technology Department. It will be easily accessible to geologists, students, and all needing information from its materials.
